電動玩具通常具備更多的玩耍和使用功能而深受兒童的喜愛。由于電子電路被應(yīng)用在玩具上，為了全面保障兒童的安全，有關(guān)電器安全及由此帶來的相關(guān)安全問題引起了各國的關(guān)注。目前，在中國、美國、歐盟等國家和地區(qū)都制定了相關(guān)的條款和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)來管控市面上的電玩具的安全。
 
歐盟EN62115電動玩具檢測標(biāo)準(zhǔn)
    由于舊標(biāo)準(zhǔn)EN 50088即將在2008年失效，在2008年后就必須使用EN 62115新的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。此標(biāo)準(zhǔn)有如下幾點較不同于EN 50088的地方：  
1. 將LED及Laser納入且須通過IEC 60825-1的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)要求  
2. 玩具的適用范圍將實驗型玩具（Experimental Toy）納入標(biāo)準(zhǔn)
3. 機(jī)構(gòu)部分的測試要求改用ISO 8124-1取代原標(biāo)準(zhǔn)EN71  
4. 玩具的變壓器需通過IEC 61558-2-7的認(rèn)證  
5. 實驗型的玩具需標(biāo)示 Warning: Only for use by children aged 8 years and older，同時需提供詳細(xì)的安裝與使用手冊  
6. 此標(biāo)準(zhǔn)不適用如下的玩具：  
? Toy steam engines  
? Scale models for adult collectors  
? Folk dolls and decorative dolls and other similar articles for adult collectors  
? Sports equipment  
? Aquatic equipment intended to be used in deep water  
? Equipment intended to be used collectively in playgrounds  
? Amusement machines (IEC 60335-2-82)  
? Professional toys installed in public places (shopping centers, stations, etc.)  
? Products containing heating elements intended for use under supervision of an adult in a teaching context  
? Portable child-appealing luminaires (IEC 60598-2-10)  
? Christmas decoration
 
其他國家玩具電動標(biāo)準(zhǔn)
（一）中國—GB 19865 
該標(biāo)準(zhǔn)適用于供14歲以下兒童使用的至少有一種功能需要使用電的玩具。
（二）美國—ASTM F963 條款4.25
該條款適用于供14歲以下兒童使用的至少有一種功能通過電池驅(qū)動的玩具。
（三）國際—IEC 62115 
該標(biāo)準(zhǔn)適用于供14歲以下兒童使用的至少有一種功能需要使用電的玩具。
